Camp 1-2 (Aconcagua)

We hiked 11 miles from camp 1 to 2 yesterday. This morning we got up early and went from camp 2 to Base Camp. We went about 9 miles and gained about 3000 feet in elevation today. Base camp is about 13,600 feet. Just about 30 miles in three days. Everyone feels good and is doing well. They have WiFi! So I should be able to communicate. Not sure what we’re doing tomorrow. Some debate as to rest day or acclimation climb to 16,000 and cache (leave food and equipment) and come back to base camp. This photo is our eating accommodations. Pretty nice.
