Vinson Massif is a large mountain massif in Antarctica that is 21 km long and 13 km wide and lies within the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains. It overlooks the Ronne Ice Shelf near the base of the Antarctic Peninsula. The massif is located about 1,200 kilometers from the South Pole.

Vinson Day to Day Itinerary
Jan 5 - Arrive in Punta Arenas Chile
Jan 6-8 - Daily COVID tests, gear check, city exploration
Jan 9 - Depart Punta Arenas fly to Antarctica transfer to ski aircraft to base camp (6900 ft)
Jan 10-12 Acclimate and climb to 9000 ft
Jan 13-15 fixed ropes to 12500 ft
Jan 16-17 summit attempt to 16050 ft
Jan 18 - Decent to base camp
